Our First Meeting

Many people are surprised when we explain to them that the main purpose of our first meeting is not to sell you on using SilverMark. Rather, it is to see if there is a good match between what you need done, your priorities, what we do and how we do it. Also, it is to explore if there is a good fit between you and SilverMark. Why? Because not everyone is interested in getting high quality design and construction, service and the type of value we deliver. We have found that good chemistry is the foundation for a satisfying remodeling experience. Whomever you select, they will be in your home for weeks to months and you have to feel comfortable with them and be able to trust them. We don’t expect to earn your trust at the first meeting but you should at least have a good feeling about us or whoever you do business with.

At our first meeting, we focus on listening and understanding the problems you have with your home and what you would like to be able to do with it that you can’t now. We’ll discuss your ideas. Perhaps you can share magazines or photos that have inspired you. Our design/remodeling professionals can help you focus your ideas and plans, prioritize your needs, suggest new ideas you might not have thought of and discuss ways to turn the home you have into the home you want.

We’ll discuss our exclusive SilverMark P3 process and how it makes the remodeling process understandable and run smoother, even if you’ve never been involved in a remodeling project before. We’ll answer any questions you might have about our company, process, and exclusive 2+6+10 Year Limited Warranty (one of the best in the industry).

We will also discuss budgets in general terms. If this is your first remodeling project, you will probably find that remodeling is a larger investment than you initially thought. You may also find that you can get a wide range of estimates unless you are only talking to reputable and qualified remodelers that provide similar levels of quality and service.
